According to the CDC, around 70% of all adults are overweight or obese, which leads to lower quality of life and also burdens the healthcare system. High blood pressure and chronic diseases are also highly prevalent and are among the most pressing medical issues nationally. Wilson’s Health and Weight Management’s focus is on helping patients get on the path toward better health and weight loss by utilizing evidence-based medicine/research in treating obesity.
Weight loss treatment
Our first step is to have an initial assessment of your overall health that includes current medical conditions. During this initial meeting we will go over:
- Current medications
- Height, weight, BMI
- Meal diary
- Appetite suppressants
- Diet plans (including ketogenic)
- Meal planning
- Counseling
- Semaglutide Consultation
- Current exercise habits
- Individual health goal/weight
- Expectations – such as food journaling, weekly weight

Get Your Prescriptions
Based on your illness or concern, prescriptions are sent to the pharmacy your choice the same day.
A NOTE ON MEDICATIONS
Appointments are required for evaluation and subsequent prescribing of controlled substances. There is an initial intake appointment that must be attended virtually or in office (807 Haddon Ave. Suite 215 Haddonfield, N.J. 08033. The cost of service varies depending on type and time required. Appointments can be spaced to every 3 months once medication management is stable, these appointments must be attended. Some medications to include stimulants requires EKG, Urine Drug Screen and In Office Visit before prescription can be sent to the pharmacy. There are other medications such as non-controlled substances that can be done virtually without office visit.
